Was eine Zeitreise ins Jetzt. Ich fühl mich als säße ich im Café '87 mitten in New York und bestelle mir eine große und kalte Flasche Fritz Kola. Es ist 23.32h und das Licht aus den Lautsprechern und auf dem Dancefloor flackert schneller als die Lavalampe neben meinem Arm. Menschen mit tosend-ungewollten Tanzschritten bewegen sich elegant und dezent in der ab und zu von den Scheinwerfern unterbrochenen Dunkelheit. Vieles ist rot. Vieles wie Samt. Gerade hab ich Peter Hook neben mir an einer Flasche bitterem Bieres säußeln hören: "Kim, hi, ich will mit dir deinen Himmel sehen gehen!" Und genau das ist die neue EP "Dark Heart" von Stuntcat. Eine Liebeserklärung in schönsten Klängen an Noise-No Wave-Rock. Lindas erotisch-laszive Stimme trifft auf Bjoerns kühl-coole Gitarrenriffs und ein treibend-stampfendes Schlagzeug ist einfach da und bewegt sich in exzessivster Post-Punk Manier. Ein Gefühl von verwackelten VHS-Videos in überfüllter Lautstärke, mitten im Tanzen fünf Meter vor der Band gefilmt. es ist nur Glanz und Schönheit zu hören und das Sehen ist sowieso toll.

The Jesus & Mary Chain till you drop! 11 bands covering "Just Like Honey"

Since today the Just Like Honey Indie Music Podcast released a digital compilation with 11 indierock bands covering all the same song: "Just Like Honey" from the 90ties shoegaze band the Jesus & Mary Chain. The song, which last appeared in Sophia Copollas movie "Lost in Translation", is perfectly covered in 11 very different and unique versions, which all are recorded in a very high quality.

The reason for the release is even more spectacular than the release itself: 100% of the money will be donated to the Breast Cancer Care. Indie-Podcaster Bertie B. takes the money to run with the London Marathon for Breast Cancer Care. All the money that is made with the compilation is going into the fundraise.
